Annie Baker began her full-time real estate career in 2003, but it wasn’t until 2010 that she discovered her true passion—helping seniors transition to the next chapter of their lives. Her first senior client, Lillian, was 81 years old and needed to downsize from a 4,000 sq ft custom home to a 500 sq ft apartment. The emotional complexity of the move opened Annie’s eyes to a niche that required not only real estate expertise, but compassion and integrity. She quickly recognized the need for trustworthy professionals in this space, including Senior Move Managers, Estate Sale companies, and Senior Placement Advisors. With elder abuse on the rise, Annie made it her mission to build a vetted team of experts who genuinely care.
Throughout her 25+ year career, Annie has held real estate licenses in California, Arizona, Wyoming, and Ontario, Canada, and also earned her mortgage license to better serve her clients. She’s worked with top brokerages including Sereno Group, Intero Real Estate Services, Prestige Realty Advisors, and Big Block Realty.
Originally from Atherton, CA, Annie has lived in Finland and Canada, and even traveled the world by ship. She met her (then) husband at St. Lawrence University in Upstate New York, who went on to play in the NHL—including for the San Jose Sharks. She’s deeply familiar with the emotional and logistical challenges of moving, having experienced them personally across multiple states and countries.
Since 2005, Annie has called Los Gatos home, raising two daughters and, in 2018, marrying a Sergeant at the San Jose Police Department—adding two boys to create her very own “mini Brady Bunch.”
Three things Annie knows for sure: her life purpose is to be kind, she loves playing ice hockey, and she’s passionate about real estate. Her commitment to community extends into her volunteer work with Hospice of the Valley and “Furry Friends” therapy dog visits with her pup Winston.
